The Human and Nature Relationship

Humans are considered the highest form of life since they have a fully developed and relatively large brain. Human beings have intelligence that defines their existence. Thus, I believe that it is our right to dominate over the Earth and the creation of God since the Earth is the home of billions of species. Our ability, our creativity, and our activities have modified almost every part of our planet. We, humans, are having an intense impact on it. Besides, human activities are now the drivers of every global problem that we are facing. On the other hand, if humans will neglect God’s creation then they should not be entitled to dominating the Earth. If humans will dominate over the Earth and God’s creation, they must be responsible for taking good care of our surroundings since they are also the ones who can benefit something from it.

In the world we live in today, the gap between the rich and the poor has moved to the extreme ends over the last decade. The rich continue to gain more wealth and grow richer while the poor have remained to be poor and powerless. The gap between rich and poor represents the inequality that we have. In connection to this, I agree with the statement that when we look into the purely technological lense, we can distort how we see nature and ourselves. We tend to see things differently and neglect reality. Those who are wealthy don’t even bother to help the poor ones and just leave them alone without having anything. The unfortunate ones are crying for help and the environment as well. Thus, we need to take responsibility for our neighbors and also to our environment.

Nature is one of the creations of God. In the broadest sense, nature is the natural, physical, or material world or universe. Although people are part of nature, human action is frequently perceived as a different classification from other natural phenomena. I view myself as a part of nature since I feel great when I am surrounded by a good environment. I likewise view myself as a feature of nature since we, people, are the ones who are responsible for taking good care of our environment. We are obliged to protect nature, as we rely upon the assets and resources it gives. Humans and nature are so intimately associated that if we are independent and mishandling nature resembles abusing ourselves.
