Often times, when anxiety and stress cripples, we tend to seek help from other things. May it be our journal, our go-to vanilla ice cream, or our social media pages. Other times, we just feel the sudden need to vent it out through a Facebook post or a tweet. But believe me, there’s nothing more comforting than getting help from the word of God. The source of energy and strength that keeps us going. Take your hands off the wheel through prayer and these 10 Bible Verses that have personally helped me connect my hope in God. These bible verses will not only help soothe your Anxiety and stress but will also bring about confidence and peace in your heart. Bible Verse #1 Psalm 23 NIV “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing” Believe that everything that you need in your life, career, and fulfillment is already out there. You just have to toughen the game of faith and trust that you can have whatever you desire when you tap into his energy. Always remember that like attracts like, whenever you think in the energy of ‘Lack’ you will attract more lack into your life. Choose to think in abundance, because that is our truth. http://bitly.ws/8UFC Bible Verse #2 Jeremiah 29: 11 “For I know the plans that I have for you. Plans to prosper and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future.” Most of our anxiety comes from thinking about what will happen to us in the future. The verse is a reminder that you need to chill, focus on what’s thriving in the present, and let God design a beautiful future for you. It is not your job to figure out and overthink everything, let go... and let God. Bible Verse #3 Ecclesiastes 3:1 & Ecclesiastes 3:11 “For everything, there is a season, and a time for every purpose under the heaven” “He has made everything beautiful in his time” Relax, and breathe. It will happen. God has set the right time and place for you. He is never late nor early, just on your perfect timeline. You will look back in the past, and you will understand why God didn’t allow certain things to happen to you before. Find comfort in knowing that those closed doors that didn’t open for you is a transformation period that is leading you to his bigger plans in your future. Bible Verse #4 Psalm 94:19 “When my mind is full of stress and anxiety, God’s comfort delights me” It’s the best feeling in the world. To know that you are not alone when everything is all going down, to feel the warmth of his comfort which reminds us that everything will be okay and that things are working in our favor. He created this vast universe, and your crippling anxiety is no bigger than his power. Bible Verse #5 Mark 11: 23 “Truly I tell you, If anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go throw yourself into the sea; and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them” You are created by him and through him, and you are reflected in his power. God is simply telling you to believe in your capacity to do great things. To believe that there is no mountain higher that you cannot climb. Rise above your limits as God tells you to do so. Bible Verse #6 Mark 11: 24 “Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it. And it will be yours” I just want to highlight the phrase “have received it”. Meaning, you already have it with you right now. Instead of saying ‘I will be successful’ say, ‘I am successful’. The universe responds to our subconscious mind, and the subconscious is only acknowledging the PRESENT. Not the past, and not the future. So, believe that you already have it today and it will be yours. Bible Verse #7 Psalm 23:3 “He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake”- If you’re in a dilemma right now, this is the sign. Go for it! Do not be afraid to do that which sparks joy in your heart. Quit that toxic job you are in, and be your creative self. Go for the opportunity that is presented to you. Listen to your intuition, he is your guiding light. For every decision that you have to make, ask for his guidance- and ask for a sign if it is the right path you are taking. This blog might be your sign as well. Bible Verse #8 Joshua 1:9 “Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” What would your life be like if you know that you are always being guided by the most powerful force in the universe? What would you do? He said he will be with you wherever you go. How far will you aim to reach? If God is cheering for you if he is telling you that you can rise up from anything, and you have the power to create the life you wanted, why would you limit yourself? Bible Verse #9 Psalm 23:6 “Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life” There is no doubt that what is stated in the verse is an unwavering assurance that his goodness and mercy belongs to the sheep every moment of every day. Love and success will follow you wherever you go. PS, You might be thinking why I have taken out three verses from Psalms 23. Well, this chapter happens to be my life verse. I know this chapter by heart ever since I was three years old. Bible Verse #10 Proverbs 16:3 “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed” Anxiety and stress happen when you think you have to figure everything out. Relax, you got this, you can’t control every moment. Nothing is worth poisoning yourself into anxiety and stress. I’m gonna leave this last verse a quote from John Mason. “When you trust in God, you will see an opportunity in every problem” However big it is that you seemingly think you cannot reach, know that He who is inside you is superior in every circumstance. I’m happy that you made it here. I hope that the Bible verses have somehow lightened the load off your shoulder and empower you to be your greatest self. God bless and cheers to success. https://mysticblogs.com/index.php/2020/06/27/is-reality-subjective/
