3 Simple Things You Can Do For You

I'll be sharing 3 things you can do to take care of yourself.

1. Journal

Journaling helps one's mental health because you are able to get in touch with your emotions and feelings. This also allows you to reduce stress. A study actually proves that journaling or expressive writing for 15-20 minutes in a span of four months can lower blood pressure and improve liver functionality.

The fun thing about journaling is that there's no right or wrong way of doing it. You can be as crazy, random, raw, and unfiltered as you can. You can write about the meme that made you cry-laugh, or the new dress you want to buy, or anything at all. Just make sure you let it all out and write what's occupying your mind.

2. Exercise

You might be lazy (like me) and think "Nah! Can't do that."But exercising doesn't mean working out, doing cardio, and all those hardcore stuff. You can do yoga, dance, walk, or anything that will keep your body moving. This will allow your muscles to release tension and to increase your energy levels.

Doing this regularly will bring long-time benefits. Just allot a certain amount of time of your day to exercise. Also, remember to stretch and warm-up before doing activities to avoid injuries!!

3. Do Something You Enjoy Doing

Don't forget to do something you enjoy! IT IS NOT UNPRODUCTIVE to play games, to listen to music, to draw, or any activity that actually brings you joy as long as you limit it. By doing this, you are not loaded with stress and work. You can let off steam for a while to have a better mood in doing your responsibilities.

This also allows you not to feel too tired. BREAKS ARE NECESSARY. Don't work hard, work smart. And the smart move is to have time for breaks in your day.
