A Day in a Life as a Student-Dancer!

Hey there!

I'll be sharing what my daily routine is as a Student-Dancer!

Usually my schedule is not too occupying. I am always put on underload for some reasons. So there are days that I have a 7am class that ends at 9:30am and my next class would be at 1pm.

I would go home after my 9:30am class since I despise waiting too long at school, I would go back to school before 1pm and my dismissal time was at 3pm.

Since our dance troupe consists of students from different courses, our dance training officially starts at 5pm. I would wait for them either at the cafeteria, library, or the parking lot in front the entrance because that is where we conduct our training sessions.

Let's say our dance training is starting, we would start off by forming a circle and each member gets a chance to lead the drills.

Drills is what we usually call for stretching and warm-up exercises. It consists of simple workouts and cardio.

After our drills, we would proceed to review what we did the last training session. Then when the brainstorming is done, we would continue what we did not finish, for example: mastering a choreography cut.

I'm not gonna make this too long, to sum it all up, our normal training day goes like that. Although when we have an upcoming competition, our training days are intense, timetables are strict and so does our adviser and coaches.

BUT! Aside from getting tired, we enjoy our time together and had fun in the process.

Thank you for taking time to read this, feel free to message me for friendly advices or whatever.

Stay safe and enjoy your day/night!
