ANIME REVIEW: AKAME GA KILL

I've never seen anything quite like this anime. One minute it'll make you laugh so hard that you're suffocating to death on the ground, and the next it's going to make you shed tears all over your floor.

The story follows a completely average MC (by that, I mean he isn't OP, but he isn't weak either). This gives plenty of room for him to grow in strength and character, and so far, his growth has been quite interesting. I mean seriously, farm boy to assassin? The strongest aspect of this show, IMHO, is the characters. All of them are extremely interesting, and you want to know more about them and who they are. Not one of the characters in this show feels unimportant (even the blank and nameless people in the backround). They all feel alive with unique personalities, making the Akame ga Kill! world seem to be in tune with ours. You can connect with these people and understand them (for the most part).

As of right now, I have no real complaints with this anime. I can't find anything worth noting. However, the blood and gore might be too much for certain people. If you are squeamish, don't watch this, because this show has some of the bloodiest action I've seen (but it is nowhere near the level of say, Elfen Lied or Gantz. Its a fun to watch anime though and it has only 24 episodes so GO WATCH IT NOW :)
