Last August 30, 2020, Carats all around the world meets their KPop idol, Seventeen!

My first ever fan meeting which is commonly known as Caratland for Carats held in an online event in WeVerse. Carats, old and baby warmly welcomed Seventeen. I witness in Carats' side of twitter getting so excited that even if one experience might not be equal in watching in person but because of co-carats' hyping and wanting to see Seventeen I too became so excited! 

Well, what Carat will not be excited about that right?

Caratland started at 6 pm KST which is 5 pm PST in the Philippines. I recalled how I screamed when the actual VCR started as an opening for the event. The 13 membered  group was divided into different scenarios depecting their interest and other scenes for the VCR. It ended with our General Leader, Choi Seungcheol a.k.a. S.Coups, with the other members sat with him while opening the television. 

That was the cue for us Carats and them to reminisce their song advertisment for a television where they where guests. They recreated that 4-year-old song cutely, tingered the lyrics a bit and the fun video with them having the time of their lives. It is very nostalgic! They're so young that time and looking how fine they grow up made me so happy and proud of what they become today.

After the advertisement, they perform their new songs, one of it was MyMy then followed by other performances. Seventeen showed their undeniable talents and officially opening the fanmeeting by an opening ment.

Other thing that happened in the Caratland fanmeeting, not in order:

•Seventeen News Themed.
Hosted by Carat's and Seventeen's Future of KPop, Lee Chan a.k.a. Dino. They reported about their million seller Korean album Heang:garæ with their title track Left and Right. They also talked about the TMI or Too Much Information like how members are heavy talkers in their GC and many more!

• SVT Club- Grandpa version. Watching their interactions and their cosplay a thought crosses my mind where that one night Kwon Soonyoung a.k.a. Hoshi broke in tears after reading a Carat's post in WeVerse and posted his sentiments in the website. Not only Hoshi became emotional at that night but Carats as well who saw the post. Oh, Our Tiger! Horanghae!

•Seventeen ISAC themed.
Hosted by our very own Boo Seungkwan who was at that time recovering from an ankle problem. He hosted this segment wonderfully. Kudos to you Boo! They played different kind of sports, one of the thing that spark my interest because it resembles a Bisayan game called Takyan. I'm not sure but from researching I think the counterpart of it in Tagalog is Sipa. Please correct me if I'm wrong. The players also perform a snippet of different idol's/artist's song while dancing and singing.

Seventeen is also known because of their units in the group. That in mind, different units perform other unit's song.

Vocal Unit consist of Yoon Jeonghan, Hong Joshua, Lee Jihoon (Woozi), Lee Seokmin (DK) and Seungkwan, they sang Performance's unit Moonwalker. Highlighting their vocal capability. They made it as if it's their own. As the song was about to end, Seungkwan exited and the rest danced the chorus. Not knowing that after that the Caratland will be shocked when an Octopus made its way to the center. It was really fun that they added that part! 

Hip hop unit consist of S.Coups, Jeon Wonwoo, Kim Mingyu and Chwe Vernon. sang the Vocal unit song entitled Hug. They sang it in acapella. The song that made every Carat sensitive because of how they sang it and accompanied by the actual meaning of the song. But the beat changes and made it Hip Hop version greatly wrecking all Carat's lives!

Performance unit which consist of the members Wen Junhui (Jun), Hoshi, Xu Minghao (The8) and Dino sang the Hip hop's unit song What's Good. Showing their rapping skill and swag persona. They really lived up the title Performance unit because of the versality of their talent that they offer.

They also perform their songs such as Together where they went to the audience part of the venue which has a Carat bong attached to it. The song that has a hint of Japanese over it is very heartwarming giving us the message that Carats not only want to see them but them too!

Other songs are Left and Right,  Back It Up, Let Me Hear You Say, 24/7 and Second Life.

The event ended with each member's ending ment.

I honestly thought that it's the end of the fan meeting but I forgot the #Carat_Debut_Project that will happened. 
The sang the song Lucky wearing Caratland shirts. It made me goose bump not that I already felt that while watching all that was happened, but because they showed us Carats that the biggest fan of Carats are them,  they also put the videos sent by the Carats in the Screen while Seventeen was singing and dancing. 

The whole performance is a package. I can really feel how the idol and fans love each other. Their relationship is so endearing! I am also amazed how talented Carats are from showcasing their singing and dancing.

The fan meeting ended on the well known endless Snapshoot. We saw how the music played over and over again. Not wanting to end it but Seventeen needed to rest and I know some of the Carats have something to do too. 

I close the website, satisfied and fulfilled. I am so bless that I'm in this fandom and supporting this calm, chaotic, multi-talented and self producing KPop group in this generation!
