Did you know that your eye colors aren't genetically based?

Hi there? So what eye color do you have? Brown? Black? Hazel? Blue? Or Green? 

If you have one of the colors I mentioned above, let's learn about it and many more trivias about EYES'COLORS.

1. BROWN
-It is the most common eye color. 
-You have brown colored eyes as a result of having large amount of melanin in the Iris.

2. HAZEL
-Appear to switch from brown to green or a combination of two.
-Often have brown ring at the outer edge.

3. GREEN
-Least common eye color.
-Linked to Northern and Central European descent.
-And it's rare to men. 

4. BLUE
-Linked to European descent (color of most newborn babies). 

5.SILVER/GREY
-Rare.
-Linked to Eastern European descent.
-Result of having little melanin in the Iris. 

»TRIVIAS:
-Some other eye colors are not classified as one of the above. Apparently not everybody sees eye to eye. 
    •WHAT DETERMINES OUR EYES. COLORS? 
-Melanin - least amount of melanin the lighter your eye color is. 
-The amount of melanin you have is determined by your deoxyrebonucleic acid / DNA.

-Pupil size, emotions, and age can play a factor on changing eye color. However, if your eye color changes drastically or only your one eye changes color, consult your eye doctor as it may be an indicator of medical condition

RED EYES:
-Used to describe irritated or bloodshot eyes caused by:
-Allergies
-Contact overuse
-Infection
-Eye injury
-Sunburn
-Dry eyes

PINK EYES:
-Also known as conjunctivitis.
-One of the most common causes of red eyes and eye infections.
-Give the eye a pink or red look. 

YELLOW EYES:
-Usually a result of most serious health concern:
-Cirrhosis 
-Sickle cell anemia
-Pancreatic or liver cancer
-Gallstones.
