When I was in High school we had an assignment, search for 5 short stories and make a reaction paper. There is 1 story that I can still remember to this very day. The title was EVERYTHING is GOOD.
In this story, there is a KING and his BEST FRIEND. One day, the King and his Best friend went on a hunting trip. While hunting, the King lost a finger. The Best friend told his friend, the King, that EVERYTHING IS GOOD, that everything has a reason. The King was so mad that he ordered his guards to put his Best friend in prison.
Then one day, while the king was outside his castle, a group of Cannibals kidnapped him. While preparing all the ingredients for there food, one of the Cannibals notice that the King, is not complete. Cannibals only eat complete human.  So, they released the King. 
As soon as the King got to his kingdom, he went to see his best friend and apologized. He said, I'm sorry my friend for treating you like this, you were right, because of the lost finger they did not eat me. And the Best friend told the King that, EVERYTHING IS GOOD. If you didn't put me in prison, i will be with you when u got kidnapped and I'll be eaten, because I'm a complete human.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Always think positive and remind yourself that there is always a reason for the things (Good or Bad) that is happening to our lives.
