HOW CAN YOU ENJOY LIFE WHEN YOU ARE A PRISONER OF YOUR OWN HOME?

Each of us is taking the best fight towards the COVID-19 pandemic. These critical times curb us to explore. It gives us a hard time finding contemplated satisfaction. Mother Nature herself! 

Still, it’s not too late to reminisce memories worthy to share. And there's nothing wrong to travel back once everything will fall from its proper places. Yes, this is what I’m going to do. Let me share with you the journey of our group after taking a professional fight for our credibility. 

From the southernmost part of the island, lies one of the humble, flourishing cities in the south. Not because of its own potential to thrive, this city has the capacity to take everyone’s delight of nature. Yes, I am talking to a place called “Jewel of the Sugar Island” - the city of Sipalay. 

Sipalay City is one of the most fascinating places in the “land of sweet surprises”. There are so many breath-taking landscapes, soothing beaches, and awe-inspiring islets. You'll enjoy a refreshing abode from the soothing breeze of the wind sailing to the unknown place. Away from the busy pathways, dancing wheels, sparkling lights, and singing beeps. 

This photo took at Brgy. 4, Sipalay city along with my friends. This is after taking the 2018 Licensure Examination for Agriculturist at Cebu City. We exhaust ourselves to savor the salty, yet satisfying offer of the blue sea. Mind you, this place is somehow hidden to tourists during that time. It took us almost 24 hours awake and yet we swim, and eat and laugh as if we’re all going to be an end our lives tomorrow (hahaha. kidding). 

I saw what the city has to offer. I contemplated on a firm belief that this will soon be one of the most wanted spots in the country. KMJS proved that already! This barangay proves its capacity to fill our heart’s desire. We'll be starting from its green islands to its blue sea. Then again, we have seen how nature works for us. 

COVID-19 gives us so many lessons in life. One of which is the value of appreciation and responsibility. How we take the sense of humanity towards creation. If we want nature to work for us, we have to protect it and it will protect us back.
