As we enter the year 2020 there are so many events we do not expect. there were covid19 around the world, earthquakes in various parts of the world, forest fires, landslides, floods, and much more. They are just one of the signs that our Lord Jesus is coming soon. that is why we should reflect on what is happening in our world.
As you read this, I have ways to show you how we can follow our Lord. because nowadays it doesn't matter how rich you are, how famous you are, and what other position you have in the world you live in. because we have no other need but our Lord Jesus. Today I will explain to you how we can follow him correctly.

First! Begin to trust Jesus only for your salvation and not for yourself and good works. We can only follow our Lord Jesus if we accept him into our lives and be saved because of him. salvation is not because of our good works. we will be saved because of God's love for us.

Second! Avoid all biblical sins. we all know the 10 commandments of the Lord. and to those who do not know, I challenge you to have the opportunity to read the scriptures. as we read, we will learn the commandments of the Lord that we should avoid.

Third! take part in weekly worship. the Lord wants us to always participate in worship. Let us not neglect our gatherings as is the custom of some. let us encourage one another especially now that the end is near.

Fourth! Make it a practice to attend small groups that meet weekly for Bible study and discipleship. The Lord wants us to always study his words and in our study the Lord wants you to share with your neighbor what you have learned. do not let yourself be the only one who knows the teachings of God. because the Lord wants us to spread His word throughout the world.

Fifth! Always be prepared to share with others what Christ has done for you. because of this, our neighbor will know how great the Lord has been since we received him into our lives. do not be ashamed that we are God's servants. others will reject you but the Lord will never forsake us.

Finally! Daily read the Bible and follow what is written in it. as I said earlier that reading the bible daily deepens our knowledge of our Lord. let us not forget to read the book of scripture. let us meditate on it day and night so that we may know how to fulfill all that is written in it.

I urge all of us to return to the Lord and serve him with all our heart, might, mind, and soul. because it is true that in this world the time will come when everything will be lost.
