My advice is short and simple. In order to speed up your typing skills, you need to take time to practice typing quickly. Take time to research. Take time to learn and avoid mistakes in typing. According to Raratype, return to the starting point of the fingers which are "ASDF - JKL". You must continue to establish and maintain the rhythm while typing. Do not look at the keyboards while typing. When you just started learning, do not rush. Speed up when your fingers hit the right keys out of habit. When you just started, take your time when typing to avoid mistakes. The speed will pick up as you improve. I recommend this typing speed test link to try and for practice.
