I am Grateful

Stay positive Don’t let life get you down. Stay joyful. Stay hopeful. Week 3: I am Grateful
In this week, we will see how gratefulness defeats complaining. 😊 Being grateful will unlock your generosity, being contented, being happy. Here’s a great example of a person who showcase his gratefulness. Luke 17:11-18 - Ten Healed of Leprosy 11 As Jesus continued on toward Jerusalem, he reached the border between Galilee and Samaria. 12 As he entered a village there, ten men with leprosy stood at a distance, 13 crying out, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” 14 He looked at them and said, “Go show yourselves to the priests.”[a] And as they went, they were cleansed of their leprosy. 15 One of them, when he saw that he was healed, came back to Jesus, shouting, “Praise God!” 16 He fell to the ground at Jesus’ feet, thanking him for what he had done. This man was a Samaritan. 17 Jesus asked, “Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine? 18 Has no one returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” Sa sampung pinagaling ni Jesus Christ, isa lang ang bumalik para magpasalamat. Gusto mong maging katulad nung isang bumalik? Be grateful.
Three statements that will help you choose gratitude.
1. I know every good thing I have comes from God. Very self-explanatory right? Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens.[a] He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. - James 1:17 2. I will not let what I want rob me of what I have. To exercise being grateful, we must learn to appreciate what we currently have instead of looking, browsing, or checking out things na wala tayo. Enjoy what you have rather than desiring what you don’t have. Just dreaming about nice things is meaningless—like chasing the wind. -Ecclesiastes 6:9 11 Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. 12 I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. 13 For I can do everything through Christ,[a] who gives me strength. – Philippians 4:11-13 3. I’ll turn every blessing I have into praise! Remember the feeling na maka-receive ka ng gift na di mo ine-expect? Mapapa-thank you Lord ka na lang talaga. Another way to exercise being grateful is to give praise to God for each and every detail of your life. 4 I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer. 5 You satisfy me more than the richest feast. I will praise you with songs of joy. Psalms 63:4-5 Here's another verse from Psalms that will help you choose gratitude at all times. 2 Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things he does for me. 3 He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. 4 He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. 5 He fills my life with good things… Psalm 103:2-5 Ano yung dapat mong ipagpasalamat sa Panginoon? This is mine. 1. I am grateful dahil nagising ako kaninang umaga. 😊 2. I am grateful kasi may work ako. 3. I am grateful kasi may access kami sa lahat ng essentials like electricity, water, Wi-Fi for work and study from home ng mga bata. 4. I am grateful kasi healthy kami lahat. List down yours! 😊 #Avoid Complaining. #Be thankful. #Choose gratitude starting today!

Happy people are not always the ones grateful but grateful people are always happy! 😊
