Pasig is set to distribute computer tablets to the city’s students before the new school year reopens on October 5, 2020.

Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto announced today the distribution schedule following the expected delivery of the educational devices on September 30.

The tablets are intended to aid students who are facing remote learning modes amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Sotto also announced that high-speed internet connections in schools are ready to service teachers as well as parents of children without net access at home. Parents will be allowed to go to the schools, by schedule, every two weeks to download learning modules.

RISO machines for the printing of learner’s packets have also been delivered to schools.
