Leap Of Faith #5YearsFromNow

Where do you see yourself in five years? Who do you want to be five years from now?
These are the questions that we usually hear during a job interview. And admit it or not, we all struggle to give the perfect answer to these questions. As for someone like me who doesn't even have the slightest idea of who do I see myself at this present time, how would I conceivably know who I want to be in five years?
And what frightens me most is that as soon as things begin to make sense for me, a person or thing changes and makes me question everything. But as I go through life, it is an undeniable fact that all of us will always experience highs and lows. We set out on a venture brimming with expectations and desires. But when we see the results of our plans, it never winds up looking precisely how we had trusted it would. And that is when I realized that in five years, I want to be there for my mom. She sacrificed a lot for me, and I want that five years from now, she also gets to do the things she deserves, we will travel together and have fun without worrying anything. Five years from now, I want to help and see my cousins finish their studies. I want to have a lot of pets because I have a heart for them. I want to see my friends reach their goals and ambitions in life. And I want to be with the one I love as we try to fulfill our dreams together. And most importantly, I want to serve as an inspiration to other people by letting them know that self-love is a must. As the idiom says: "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade."
It teaches us to embrace life in whatever form and, if there comes a time wherein you are uncertain of something, all it takes is to do a leap of faith.
