The City of Manila is all set to give next week its promised free tablets, laptops, and WiFi gadgets to public school children and teachers. The delivery schedule for the free educational tools for K-12 Students and teachers to help in learning during the expected the school year of 2020-2021, was declared by the Manila Public Information Office on August 17, 2020, to begin the coming week. Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso first announced in early July the provision of the budget for the procurement of gadgets and WiFi to support students and teachers in adapting to the Department of Education’s (DepEd) plan for “blended learning” amid the COVID-19 pandemic in the new school year that was basically scheduled to open in August but has since been rescheduled to October 5.
