My first local travel outside our province in Cebu is at Davao City. That was way back in year 2015, I traveled with my co-youth leaders and other Government officials in our Municipality. It was part of a lakbay-aral program funded by the government. 

I can still vividly remember how amazed I am to experience first hand the peace and order of their place. I got the chance to meet also their City Mayor which is now our Country's President, Rodrigo Duterte. We are then given the opportunity to visit their pride tourist destination, The Samal Island. It was truly a Paradise!

With the serenity it can offer to you, being far away from the Urban life it is truly a must visit. We visited the "Pearl Farm" and they have such a good accommodation as well as good food. 

I'll surely go back their someday, when my budget allows me to do so. For now, I'll just keep on reminiscing the good old memories from the place.
