I felt mixed emotions on my first day as a faculty member. I couldn't find the exact words to explain that feeling but what I know is that I am excited! I prepared everything from the orientation of the students, setting up rules, and many more. It was new to me so I got worked up a little. I met my students in my advisory class and I felt a little bit uneasy. However, it immediately went gone when we get to know each other more. I admire the stories that they shared and the personalities they showed not just to me but with their classmates as well. I was happy to know them and until the year ended that feeling remains. This year, they're stepping up to another level. Exploring more on their capabilities and opportunities. I'm rooting for them even though I'm not their adviser anymore. I know they will face a lot of problems along the way in these trying times. I know and I believe that they'll make through everything. They are always included in my prayers and other people who are having a hard time too.
