Online Classes Tips & Tricks

School is fast approaching. Are you ready? If you’re not, read these 10 tips to help you get started this school year.

1.	Always have snacks. You need to stay alert and awake while having discussions, so make sure to have any sweets or chocolate while on class. Also, have a meal before going to classes.
2.	Set your phone on silent mode. If you are using other device such as laptop or computer, it’s better to keep your phone away to avoid distractions.
3.	Take a shower before classes. It’s better to attend classes feeling fresh even if no one will smell you, right?
4.	Of course, take down notes. Even if you’re at home and modules or learning materials are accessible, it’s easier to review if you have your own notes.
5.	Ask questions. If you missed something, don’t be scared to ask your teacher or professor because they’ll appreciate it because it means you’re trying to keep up with the discussion.
6.	Make sure you have enough sleep. Taking classes at home doesn’t mean you can sleep late whenever you want. If you have class the next day, make sure you sleep early so you can focus in class.
7.	Use applications such as dictionaries and notepad. It helps you lessen the hassle and finish your activities smoothly.
8.	Take a break. After every class, make sure to take a break away from your device to prevent eyestrain. If you have longer break, try to take a nap to feel refreshed before attending your next class.
9.	Don’t procrastinate. Since you’re at home, use your time wisely. Do your tasks days before submission to avoid cramming.
10.	Quizzes and exams are still there so don’t cheat. Remember that it’s better to have integrity than to cheat just to have a high mark.

This year is different from the past school years, but make it work using these simple tips.
Good luck on your classes!
