Even if I said a million words,
Even if I fought a thousand swords,
Even if I played the right chords,
He would still choose the one he met before me.

Even if I gave him all my time,
Even if loving him was a crime,
Even if I made all the poems in rhyme,
He would still choose the one he met before me.

Even if I complimented the way he smiled,
Even if I appreciated the way he talked,
Even if he still chooses the one he met before me,
I admit that I have fallen for thee.
