Lord, thank you for the rest that you provide to those who are weary  and discouraged. Thank you that everyday you extend this invitation to us to cease striving and to surrender the full control of our lives and plans to you. Lord, I receive that invitation as I face the challenges of this day. I choose to be still in your presence and in your promises. I will rest in the truth that you are in control and you are never ever mistaken in your ways. I trust you Lord. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
