Are you an incoming SHS or College student? Here are some tips that may help you when reviewing! :D 1ST: Make a schedule! (Long-term & short-term) Long term: Building a schedule for a whole month helps you track the subjects that you've already completed. This helps you balance all the subjects that you need to review. This will also save you some time in contemplating whether you have to study a certain subject or not, & make you productive. (e.g. July 10-20 -- Math, July 21-25 -- Science) Short term: Constructing a productive schedule each day gives you the adrenaline you need to learn more & finish quickly. It makes you very prolific. Once you finish one task, you may add a resting period but make sure to prioritize completing your tasks! 2ND: Note-taking Make sure to jot down notes while learning for you to run through after the period of your review. 3RD: Be Creative (Depends on your personality) Multiple colors with certain meanings help you understand more the topics which you are learning. But if mono-tone, dual tones work better for you, go do your thing! 4TH: DO NOT MEMORIZE (unless very necessary), UNDERSTAND. Memorizing does not help you learn, it just makes you remember. Learning is a process in which your brain analyzes topics & remembers it. Memorizing is just simply remembering for the time being as a result of not analyzing deeply. 5TH: Research This is very important, especially when you don't fully grasp the whole topic. If you don't understand a part of what you're learning, make sure to not stop there. DO NOT just learn something, learn everything! 6TH: Be Relational Having someone who is reviewing the same time as you helps you to finish better due to the feeling of competition. This also helps you understand a topic which you don't fully recognize. 7TH: Snacks!! Eating while studying works better for me because I usually concentrate much better when I'm chewing on something. Try it out, it might work for you. 8TH: ENJOY!! Make sure you enjoy learning & not look at it as a burden but an opportunity to exercise your brain by inputting new ideas in it. LAST: HAVE a GOAL. Why are you reviewing? What for? Make sure to always remind yourself the reason why you are studying :D Hope this helps!! God bless you on studying!! :D
