"Life is a journey. Make the most out of it". Life is a long adventure that we are encountering. While we are living in this world, we should explore, savour and be thankful for each day. The sun is shining like a pearl. The golden sand is bright due to the sun's light. The trees are dancing because of the wind. The purl of the waves and the stepping of the feet are the only one resounding everywhere. All seems to be a dream because the long sought after peace has been found. It was November 30, 2018, when one of the most memorable adventures of our lives occurred. It was the first time that we travelled with friends without our parents beside us. It was like the start of a new chapter of our lives as adolescents. It served as an evidence that we were no longer kids. Excitement went all over our system the moment the engine stopped. Little by little, we transferred from one boat to another so we could explore the place. We stepped at the edge of the boat and took some more steps towards the entrance. The stairs were made of bamboos and a signage made of wood was standing proudly. Fear took over the moment we set foot on the bridge made of bamboos. We walked slowly because it feels dangerous. Looking down, mud and planted trees await us but we didn't let fear to stop us from exploring the place. Upon reaching the end of the bridge, a large nipa hut went to our sight. Paintings were exhibited there. The Nipa Hut provides a clearer view of the place. Beside it is a stair that leads to the wonderful creation of God. Walking towards the ocean, different seashells welcomed us. It was slippery and wet but we tried our best to balance ourselves. The muddy and slippery ground made us remove our footwear to make walking easier for us. The waves of the ocean sent a shiver to our spines. The birds were flocking their wings and the mountain serves as their background. As you feel the cold breeze sent by the west wind, our souls were captivated by the surrounding. It was a hidden paradise. Walking in the middle of the dancing clear water of the ocean, a fish appeared out of nowhere. We went near it only to find out that it's already dead. We had fun feeling the presence of the cold water on our feet. The boys were in the middle already when they decided to go back to the ground. We went to the area where trees were planted. Going there, the ground is muddier than expected. Our feet were being buried with each footstep that we made. Traces of our footsteps were very evident in the entire place. We went to the other side of the place. It was also surrounded by trees. We found a bird walk at the edge of the ocean. We hurriedly took our phone out to take a photo of it but sad to say, the bird left instantly. We didn't have the chance to see a thousand birds flocking their wings at the same time nearly. Instead, we saw them miles away from us. As we left the hidden paradise, we were toured around the place through the boat. Different kinds of birds were present. We were crying out of joy because we've never seen birds so close before. Being in that kind of adventure is indeed fun. We met different people and had our first boat ride. We also found ourselves in that paradise. It gave us the relaxation and break that we needed from reality. It also made us remember that when life gives us problems, nature is just around the corner ready to provide comfort. Everything was unexpected. Who would have thought that we would discover a hidden paradise here in our own province?
