Have you encountered people who would always oppose your opinions with theirs? Who would always make you feel that you're wrong and will belittle you in everything that you do? Those people are what I am calling as shallow thinkers. They are the ones that will try to stop you from doing what you love to do, judge you for being just the way you are and hate you just because of their own opinions about you. You see it's a matter of they and you, revolving with those two words. I want to talk about something that will make you realize what I am pointing out in this post. Have you watched the Disney movie Cinderella? Let's talk about that first. It was said that Cinderella was left by her late father at a very young age and was used by her step mom and siblings as their servant but she met a fairy godmother who turned her life upside down in just a night and met a prince in a ball, I know you know that it was only for a night but little did she know that the prince whom she danced with found her in despair and saved her. It was taught to kids that the story was meant to be understood as a loving story of a girl being saved by a prince but what if, Cinderella did a choice to leave her step moms and sisters from the beginning of the story, will she meet the prince? The stem mom and sisters in the story was the shallow thinkers I am talking about, they did not notice that while they were busy blabbering and commanding Cinderella, they were being prepared for punishment. They did not mind that because they took their time stepping on Cinderella and making her look like she was owned by them. As a matter of fact, shallow thinkers tend to speak more than do more, they would rather push you to something that is not you, use you until you do not know yourself anymore and trick you into following them. It's a choice for you to do it or not. In life we make choices according to what we think is right but what if the right thing to do is to let go of the things that made you who you are today. What if now is the time to free yourself from the cage that is surrounding you. Maybe you'll find the prince one day but what if you won't, will you stay as the person being controlled by others? You do not have the shallow minds that they have, think more and let go of the Shallow Minded people.
