The influenza-causing virus strains are shapeshifters, constantly moving beyond our ability to immune them-so we need annual flu shots to stay ahead of the disease. A "free" flu vaccine in this campaign will give us a massive advantage and there is now a very promising candidate on the cards

The vaccine, called FLU-v, has successfully passed clinical trials in phase I and phase II, demonstrating its safety in humans; immune responses that last at least six months have been found to induce. We can not wait to see the outcomes of the next trial process.
