In our home, weekends are traditionally movie nights. Our kids are always looking forward to new movies every weekend nights. It's nice to watch a family movie while having some chips and popcorns. 
And last week we saw Disney's The One and only Ivan. It was a good family film that will please the kids but also give parents some quality time to in which one they can learn some valuable lessons. It was about a gorilla named Ivan who happens to be a star of the show in a mall attraction, then a little elephant came named Ruby, and their plan on how to escape captivity. The movie was heart touching especially when Ivan narrates about his past. I like the connection between Ivan and the little girl named Julia, but Ivan's connection to his owner Mack was deeper for me. It was a nice movie and to think that it was based on a true story really amazed me. I would love to have you guys watch it with your family. 🙂
