Instagram is a platform where I can share my photographs and communicate via textual commentary under the images. The good feature about this app is its instant communication visual information. This is nice for visual people like me. I choose Instagram as my favorite social media because this is like my album where I can share my stories and memories through videos and photos. Everytime I watch the photos on my feed, it reminds me a lot of great memories with my friends, family and special people in my life. Actually, a lot of people as me why i like this app even if it has harmful effect in our mental health. Well , yes it's true but i believe it's not only instagram. Anxiety, depression, sleep deprivation, and body-images issues are among the perverse effects of almost all social media including fb and twitter. Then if it's not good, why i still use instagram app ? Actually, I use this app mostly during my free time. After I study, I usually open this app to relax my mind and read motivational and inspirational stories and photos. Instagram helps me to keep going and stay strong. I , as a user, it is my responsibility to use the app well and choose the content that is helpful for my health. Actually, majority of the accounts I followed are those who give me positive vibes and inspires me to do well. I also followed news account to keep me updated in the outside world. Hence, it is also a great way to share my stories to my friends and watch other people stories too. Thus, how you let social media impacts you, either positively or negatively, it really depends upon you. We, as user, we should unfollow accounts that are futile. As much as possible help yourself making positive vibes in your own way. Don't let other people make you lower your self-esteem and lessen your self-confidence. Use social media as a form of encouragement to help you uplift your life. Instagram is really helpful for me and hopefully you can find its usefulness by letting yourself find a great content for you.
