Triumphing Over Discouragement

Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me?

I.  DON’T GIVE IN INTO IT  

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

II. DON’T GIVE OUT WITH IT  

Therefore, brothers and sisters, in all our distress and persecution we were encouraged about you because of your faith.

III. DON’T GET DOWN FROM IT  

But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.

IV. DON’T GIVE UP THROUGH IT  

You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.
