Samsung S20+ BTS Edition was announced to be released today, July 9, 2020. Two other accessories were also set to tag along in this special edition—Galaxy Earbuds and Galaxy S20+ Earbuds.

In celebration of launching premiere, Twitter surprises their fans, BTS ARMY, with five emojis which can be unlocked by using these hashtags on a tweet—#FindYourPurple, #GalaxyS20PlusBTS, #S20PlusBTSedition, #BudsPlusBTSedition, and #GalaxyBTSedition. This collaboration project will only be up until October 6, 2020.

South Korea's best-selling band, BTS, has officially become Samsung Electronics Global Ambassadors last March 2020. Samsung Electronics started their sponsorship for BTS when the group hosted a global art exhibition entitled 'Connect, BTS' earlier this year.

BTS previous advertisement project for Galaxy Z-Flip and Galaxy S20 was released first before their special partnership project. Knowing BTS dedicated fans, Samsung has offered a pre-order event available in various countries that took upon from June 19 until July 5, 2020.

Due to the intensive purchase of these products, it was sold out within minutes. Another pre-order batches are still on-going on WeVerse Shop, while Samsung Philippines has stopped receiving orders for the mean time until further announcement.
