The Philippine Red Cross’ (PRC) biggest molecular laboratory in the Visayas islands has opened for COVID-19 swab tests and processing.

The COVID lab testing center sits on 207 square meters in Jagobiao, Mandaue City.

The PRC Molecular Laboratory which was inaugurated in July is able of processing 4,000 Polymerase Chain Reaction tests per day.

The processing at the PRC Mandaue lab takes 24 hours to issue results. The lab is supposed to ease the supplies in PCR testing in Cebu.
