Good, better, best. Never let it rest. Until your good is better, and your better is best. I came across a tweet a long time ago, but I can't quite find it anymore. Bummer, it was simply inspirational. Anyhow, due to said tweet, I have come to realize that "doing the best" or the definition of "best" varies among everyone. Imagine joining say, a baking competition. Regardless if one "wins" or "loses" said competition, it all boils down to oneself. If you feel you did all you could hence your best, then the significance of seeking validation from the "winner" is nulled. Why? Simple. The lack of a point of comparison. Tell me, how do you measure "best"? Remember, all other people do their bests, but it's important that you never diverge from doing yours.
