The name "Juling" comes from my grandmothers nickname. She was a retired elementary teacher. They had established this small business for more than 25 years now and they are still making it on a traditional manner. They harvest cacao fruit on their own backyard and have the cacao seeds dries under the sun. After the cacao seeds are fully dried they will start processing the cacao to make Tablea and Chocolate cacao that are very good in making Chocolate drink and Champorado. My friends also loved mixing Tablea and sugar to eat the delicious bitter-sweet chocolate. Our products however are only available locally within San Isidro and neighboring Barangay.
